Hoover Dam: Just outside of downtown Las Vegas is some of the most impressive scenery and architecture! In 1928, thousands of workers from all over the United States flocked to what is now known as Boulder City, to take part in building one of America’s greatest engineering feats! The Hoover Dam not only still provides hydroelectric power, but it remains an Art Deco masterpiece! With Hoover Dam Scooter Tours, you will also get to explore the beautiful Lake Mead, the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge that towers 880 feet over the Hoover Dam, and the historic Boulder City!

Scooting Around: A scooter is the best way to experience the iconic Hoover Dam! When you’re in a car or bus, you’re stuck behind a window. With Hoover Dam Scooter Tours, you’re not just watching a scene, you’re in it. When you’re on one of our scooters, you will be fully immersed in the Hoover Dam! Our scooters are fun and easy to ride, so you will have the experience of a lifetime!

Never ridden a scooter before? If you have never ridden a scooter before or simply haven’t had the opportunity, here is your chance because we provide free scooter riding lessons! Within minutes you will feel comfortable on the scooter and ready to tackle the open road. If you happen to be an experienced rider, you will still have a great time zipping around the Hoover Dam because let’s be honest – it’s dam hard to not have a great time on a scooter!

You will be riding on a long stretch of road, most of which has a speed limit of 25 miles-per-hour. This makes it the perfect place to hone your scooter driving skills, while also being able to enjoy the setting and views. We will also be making multiple stops for picture opportunities and for your chance to take a closer look!

So what is required? All that we require is that you are comfortable with riding a 2-wheeled bicycle and have basic balance! We’ll teach you the rest and ensure you are comfortable on the scooter before hitting the road.

No Special License Required: No motorcycle license is required, just a normal driver’s license. Riders must be 21 years of age or older.

Authorized and Endorsed Scooter Tour Guides:  You’re in good hands! Hoover Dam Scooter Tours is permitted to operate within, and guide Hoover Dam tours by the Bureau of Land Management, Dept. of the Interior (U.S. Government).  In fact, we’re authorized to guide 2 wheeled gas powered scooter tours through the NCA.
